ALL that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying
and being in the Town of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Chatham
County, Georgia, known and designated on a map or plan of Fort
Screven, as Lot Number Three (3), Block Fifteen (15), in Fort
Screven Ward; said Lot Number Three (3), Block Fifteen (15), Fort
Screven Ward, being rectangular in shape and having a Northern
boundary on Cedarwood Drive of Sixty-one and Ninety-eight hundredths,
(61.98) feet, more or less; an Eastern boundary along the dividing'
line between Lot Number Two (2), and Lot Number Three (3), said Ward
of One Hundred Forty-two and Ninety hundredths (142.90) feet, more
or less; a Southern boundary on Beywood Avenue of Sixty-one and Sixty-
hundredths (61.60) feet, more or less, and a Western boundary on an
unimproved Road of One Hundred Thirty-seven and Thirty-five hundred-
ths (137.35) feet, more or less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of Council of said
Municipality be and he is hereby authorized to attest the signature
of the Mayor ef Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, on this deed and to
affix the corporate seal of the Municipality thereto.
There being no further business, Council “ijourned, subject

A meeting of Council was held in the Auditorium at 8 P. M.
for the purpose of inaugurating the new Board. into office for the
remainder of the year, and was attended by Mayor Dutton and Council-
men Hosti, Meddin, peters , Lovell, Brown, and Councilman-Elect, Smith.
Chief Judge B. B. Heery of the Municipal Court of Savannah
administered the following oath to mayor Dutton:
I, EDWARD A. DUTTON, do solemnly swear that I will faith-
fully and honestly perform the duties of Mayor of the Town of
Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, to the best of my skill and ability,
without favor or affection; so help me God.

Judge Heery congratulated the Mayor and extended good wishes
for his success on his new tenure of office.
Judge Heery then administered the following oaths for the
Councilmen:

We, B. P. Hosti, Thomas F. Smith, Alexander Meddin, John A.
Peters, William 8. Lovell, and James A. Brown, do solemnly swear
that we will faithfully and honestly perform the duties of Council-
men of the Town of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, to the best of
our skill and ability, without favor or affection, so help me God.

Judge Heery also congratulated the newly elected Councilmen
and wished for them a useful and successful administration of office.
The Mayor extended thanks to Judge Leery for administering
the oaths and also extended thanks to 1!'r. Alec Lawrence, Mr. Henry
Dunn, Mayor Wook and others for their interest in attending the in-
auguration, he also extended thanks to the large number of people
who turned out for the inauguration and extended thanks to those
who had sent such beautiful flowers for the occasion, after which
everyone went to Mmeorial park for an outdoor supper.
There being no further business, Council adjourned subject
to the call of the Mayor.

The regular meeting of Council was held today at 8 p. M. in
the Council Room and was attended by Mayor Dutton, who presided,
Councilmen peters, Hosti, Brown, Smith, Lovell, Meddin, Town Attor-
ney Solms, Jr., Mr. Thomas Reed and Mr. Jos. J. Hutton.
Mr. Hutton stated that the crane that was gotten for use at
the sea -wall was not large enough to handle the load, and it would
be necessary to get a larger one, he also stated that if they do not
hit rocks below the surface when slabs are being jetted down that the
job should be completed in about six weeks and that work was started
yesturday, the Mayor appointed a committee consisting of Councilman
Meddin and peters to endeavor to borrow a larger size crane that
will handle the work. Mr. Hutton wns excused.
