A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE SPECIAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND LIEBERT CASSIDY WHITMORE,
A PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION, TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES
TO THE CITY REGARDING EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS MATTERS
WHEREAS, the City desire to secure legal services pertaining to
employment relations matters; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has consulted with Liebert Cassidy
Whitmore over the course of many years; and
WHEREAS, the agreement will provide the City with consulting,
representational and legal services pertaining to employment relations matters,
including representation in negotiations and in administrative and City
proceedings, as requested by City or otherwise required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the special services agreement between Liebert Cassidy
Whitmore, a Professional Corporation, and the City of Lynwood is approved for
the period of February 1,2005, ongoing and may be modified by mutual
agreement of the parties.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to sign the special services
agreement on behalf of the City.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
