SPECIAL MEETING
February 20 and 21, 2007
The Moab City Council held a Special Meeting on the above date at the
Council Chambers of Moab City Offices, located at 217 East Center
Street, Moab, Utah. Mayor Pro-Tem Rob Sweeten called the Special
Meeting to order at 8:37 AM. In attendance were Councilmembers Keith
Brewer, Jeffrey Davis and Gregg Stucki. Also in attendance were City
Manager Donna Metzler, City Recorder Rachel Ellison, City Engineer
Dan Stenta, Public Works Director Brent Williams, Water
Superintendent Lloyd Swenson, Street Superintendent Ken Denney,
Facilities Supervisor Chace Gholson, Parks Superintendent Mark
Marshall, Administrative Analyst/Economic Development Coordinator
Kenneth F. Davey, City Treasurer Jennie Ross, Recreation Coordinator
John Geiger, Moab Arts and Recreation Center Administrator Janet
Lowe, Planning and Community Development Director David Olsen,
Police Chief Michael Navarre, Police Lieutenant Scott Mallon and
Animal Control Officer Randy Zimmerman.
SPECIAL MEETING & ATTENDANCE
The purpose of the Special Meeting was a Visioning Workshop between PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING
Elected Officials and City Departments.
City Manager Metzler made a brief presentation. Each Department made
a presentation. Discussion followed amongst City Staff and City
Councilmembers.
DISCUSSION REGARDING VISIONING
Mayor Pro-Tem Sweeten recessed the Special Meeting at 11:57 AM. MEETING RECESSED
Mayor Pro-Tem Sweeten reconvened the Special Meeting on February
21, 2007 at 8:35 AM. Councilmember Kyle Bailey was also in MEETING RECONVENED
attendance.
DISCUSSION CONTINUED
Discussion continued.
Mayor Pro-Tem Sweeten adjourned the Special Meeting at 11:27 AM. ADJOURNMENT
