AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
SCHOOR DE PALMA/LANDFILL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Cmmcil, by resolution, did previously authorize a
professional services contract with thc engineering firm of Schoor DePalma for
engineering planning services with regard to the Landfill Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Attorney has advised the Mayor and Council that additional
funding over and above the amount previously authorized by resolution for the services
f Schoor DePalma; and
YHEREAS, the Municipal Finance Officer has certified that funds are or will be
~ailable for the same.
IOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. The engineering firm of Schoor DePalma is hereby authorized an
additional sum of $10,000.00 for engineering planning services with
regard to the Carteret Landfill Redevelopment Project.
2. The appropriate Borough officials are hereby authorized to enter
into an agreement with the engineering firm of Schoor DePalma to
perform the above described engineering services for a total cost not to
exceed $10,000 in accordance with the terms and conditions of their
previously submitted proposal.
3. This action is approved ~vithout competitive bids as an award of a
professional services contract.
Adopted this 18th day of April, 2002
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 19, 2002.
