Home My Public Portal About2018.169 (09-27-18) • RESOLUTION NO 2018.169 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING BATEMAN HALL ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT, AS BEING COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION (401168.033) WHEREAS, on November 1, 2017, the City of Lynwood awarded a contract to Letner Roofing Co. for the construction of the Bateman Hall Roof Replacement Project; and • WHEREAS, the construction on the Bateman Hall Roof Replacement Project started on March 5; 2018 and was completed on August 27, 2018; and WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $413,197, which includes one (1) contract change order in the amount of$42,397 for additional work; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on August 29, • 2018 and found that all work was completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Bateman Hall Roof Replacement Project as complete in accordance with contract documents and authorizes the Director of Public Works to process the recordation of the Notice of Completion. Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption. Section 3._ The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
