A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE WATER UTILITY DEPARTMENT TO SUBMIT AN
APPLICATION TO APPLY FOR FUNDING FROM THE WELL CONSTRUCTION AND
REHABILITATION LOAN PROGRAM AND ALLOW FOR THE CITY MANAGER OR
HIS DESIGNE TO SIGN AND SUBMIT THE APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to modify, operate, and maintain
the City of Lynwood's Water System; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to construct a new well or rehabilitate an
existing well as part of the City of Lynwood's Water System, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that, pursuant and subject to all of the
terms and provisions of the Well Construction and Rehabilitation Loan Program ap-
plication be made to the Water Replenishment District of Southern California for funding;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of said City of Lynwood is
hereby authorized and directed to cause the necessary data to be prepared and
application to be signed and filed with the Water Replenishment District of Southern
California.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize the City Manager or his designee to
sign and submit the loan application to apply for funding from the Well Construction and
Rehabilitation Loan Program; and
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 2018.
