A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING $39,121 OF TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT ACT, ARTICLE 3 FUNDS FOR THE
SIDEWALK RECONTRUCTION PROJECT, FY 2004-05
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act, Article 3 (TDA) provides that 2% of
each county's total local Transportation Fund be annually set aside and used to fund the development
of pedestrian and bicycle facilities; and
WHEREAS, the TDA funds allocation of the City of Lynwood for FY 2004-05 is
$36,937; and
WHEREAS, the TDA excess fund balance from FY 2003-04 is $2,184; and
WHEREAS, the total available TDA funds for FY 2004-05 is $39,121; and
WHEREAS, staffhas identified various locations citywide where reconstruction
of sidewalk is needed; and
WHEREAS, these sidewalks are eligible for the use of said funds; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council desires to continue providing safe
pedestrian facilities to its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to make the
following funds transfer and appropriations:

Sidewalk Reconstruction Project

Section 2. That this resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
