AWARDING CONTRACT/THREATENED AND ENDANGERED PLANT
AND WILDLIFE HABITAT EVALUATION
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret requires a Threatened and Endangered Plant
and Wildlife Habitat Evaluation as part of the Environmental Information Document
required by the Environmental Protection Agency for the Hill District Storm Water
System hnprovement Project; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer, T&M Associates, has solicited three proposals
for said services and has received the following:
1. Amy S. Greene Environmental Consultants $3,500.00
2. Connolly Environmental $6,600.00
3. Herpetological Associates $9,910.00
WHEREAS, Amy S. Greene Environmental Consultants submitted the lowest quote
for said services as evidenced by the proposal for the same on file in the office of the
Borough Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Donald J. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E., Carteret Borough Engineer, has
reviewed all of the above proposals and has recommended the award of a contract for
said services to Amy S. Greene Environmental Consultants.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized
to enter into an agreement with Amy S. Greene EnvironmentaI
Consultants to perform a Threatened and Endangered Plant and
Wildlife Habitat Evaluation pursuant to the attached proposal
submitted to T&M Associates.
2. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Finance
Department and T&M Associates for distribution to Amy S. Greene
Environmental Consultants.
Adopted this 18th day of April, 2002
and certified as a true copy of the
originaI on April 19, 2002.
