A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING
STAFF TO PURCHASE NEEDED MATERIALS, SUPPLIES AND SERVICES THROUGH AN
INFORMAL BID PROCESS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW ROOF AT THE CITY
CORPARATE YARD AND AUTHORIZES THE USE OF BUILDING MAINTENANCE FUNDS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT"
WHEREAS, the City Corporate Yard Building "A" Water Division Office leaks and
needs replacement; and
WHEREAS, said project cost estimate is $8,500.00; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Building Maintenance Fund account; and
WHEREAS, this project can be done more efficiently and economically through an
informal biding process; and
WHEREAS, Section 6-3.13c of the Lynwood Municipal Code allows the
City Council to approve said informal bid process with a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City of Lynwood
as follows:
Section 1: That staff is authorized to solicit bids for the installation of a
new roof at the City Corporate Yard Water Division Office through an informal bid
process.
Section 2: Staff is authorized to fund this project with Building
Maintenance Funds.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
