AWARDING CONTRACT/PHASE I-A CULTURAL RESOURCE
RECONNIASSANCE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret requires a Phase 1-A Cultural Resource
Reconnaissance Evaluation as part of the Environmental Information Document
required by the Environmental Protection Agency for the Hill District Storm Water
System Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer, T&M Associates has solicited three proposals
for said services and has received the following:
1. Cultural Resources Consulting Group $3,600.00
2. Richard Grub Consultants $4,751.00
3. Hunter Research $7,963.99
WHEREAS, Cultural Resources Consulting Group submitted the lowest quote for
said services as evidenced by the proposal for the same on file in the office of the
Borough Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Donald J. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E., Carteret Borough Engineer, has
reviewed all of the above proposals and has recommended the award of a contract for
said services to Cultural Resources Consulting Group,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized
to enter into an agreement with Cultural Resources Consulting Group
to perform a Phase I-A Cultural Resource Reconnaissance Evaluation
pursuant to the attached proposal submitted to T&M Associates.
2. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Finance
Department and T&M Associates for distribution to Cultural
Resources Consulting Group.
Adopted this 18th day of April, 2002
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 19, 2002.
