A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN
IRREVOCABLE EASEMENT OFFER OF
DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES AT
3359 JOSEPHINE AVENUE
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for the development of a two-story, single family
dwelling at 3359 Josephine Avenue include and irrevocable easement offer of dedication for five
(5) feet wide strip of property along Josephine Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that said easement is
necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall be served by
accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the irrevocable easement offer of dedication for street
purposes from Martin Garcia and Sara Garcia as described below:
The southerly five (5) feet of the easterly fifty (50) feet of lot 669 of Tract No.
2992 in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as
recorded in Book 30, Page 78 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder.
Assessor's Map No. 6171-023-030
Commonly known as:
3359 Josephine Avenue
Lynwood, Ca 90262
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
