A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF FUNDS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND
TO THE SELF-INSURANCE FUND
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to cover the current deficit and to
provide adequate funds in the liability insurance division for the remainder of the
2004-2005 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the liability insurance division's maintenance and operations
budget is inadequate to cover the settlement of claims, professional and
contractual services and the escalating cost of insurance premiums; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to balance the divisional
budget and allocate the necessary funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make
the following funds appropriation and transfers:

23-4125-4220 $ 60,000
23-4125-4222 $ 90,000
23-4125-4257 $350,000
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
