HomeMy Public PortalAbout10955O R D I N A N C E NO. 10955 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Ontario Drive Sanitary Relief (99105), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R & R Finish Grading, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is One Hundred Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars ($118,188.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Twelve Dollars ($11,812.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Ontario Drive Sanitary Relief (99105) in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R & R Finish Grading, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Ontario Drive Sanitary Relief (99105), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 13th day of March, 2001. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 10, 2001 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, A.J. Soukenik, J.W. Siscel, and C.D. Seward. Nays – None.
