AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director of The
Metropolitan St Louis Sewer District to distribute funds deposited with
the District by the State of Missouri, pursuant to the Missouri State
Stormwater Grant/Loan Assistance Program, to the various
municipalities in the greater St. Louis area and to St. Louis County for
application toward the costs of qualified stormwater projects.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has designated The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to administer the Missouri State
Stormwater Grant/Loan Assistance Program in the greater St. Louis
area, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said program, the State of Missouri
deposits funds with the District, and
WHEREAS, the District must distribute said funds to the
various municipalities in the greater St. Louis area and to St. Louis
County for application toward the costs of qualified stormwater projects,
and
WHEREAS, the process for the distribution of said State
funds by the District will be greatly expedited if the Executive Director
were authorized to distribute said State funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District is hereby authorized to distribute funds deposited
with the District by the State of Missouri, pursuant to the Missouri State
Stormwater Grant/Loan Assistance Program, to the various
municipalities in the greater St. Louis area and to St. Louis County for
application toward the costs of qualified stormwater projects.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 10, 2001 by the following vote
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, A.J. Soukenik, J.W.
Siscel, and C.D. Seward.
Nays – None.
