HomeMy Public PortalAbout10974O R D I N A N C E NO. 10974 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Marlborough to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Larry Del and Security Storm Sewer (2000099), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Truss Brothers Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Twenty-seven Thousand Dollars ($27,000.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Marlborough to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Larry Del and Security Storm Sewer (2000099), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Truss Brothers Construction Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Larry Del and Security Storm Sewer (2000099), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 13th day of April, 2001. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 2001 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, A.J. Soukenik, J.W. Siscel, and C.D. Seward. Nays – None.
