O R D I N A N C E NO. 10994
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Nine Hundred
Thousand ($2,900,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to supplement
District staff in providing a System Master Plan of the District’s Capital
Improvement & Replacement Program (2001067); and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-981 with
Sverdrup/Kwame/Metcalf & Eddy Joint Venture for the aforesaid
planning services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Nine Hundred
Thousand ($2,900,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement
Fund for a System Master Plan of the District’s Capital Improvement &
Replacement Program (2001067).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Contract E-981 with
Sverdrup/Kwame/Metcalf & Eddy Joint Venture for a System Master
Plan of the District’s Capital Improvement and Replacement Program
(2001067); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 2001 by the following
vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, A.J. Soukenik, J.W.
Siscel, and C.D. Seward.
Nays – None.
