O R D I N AN C E NO. 11004
AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 10797, adopted June 19,
2000, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof prescribing the salary of the
Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 10797, adopted June 19, 2000, is hereby
repealed.
Section Two. The salary of the Secretary-Treasurer shall be One Hundred
Ten Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-seven Dollars ($110,937.00), per annum, payable
in equal bi-weekly installments, on and after June 14, 2001.
Section Three. The position of Secretary-Treasurer is essential to the
operation of the District, and the salary for said position must be prescribed without
delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 14, 2001 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, A.J. Soukenik, J.W. Siscel, and
C.D. Seward.
Nays – None.
