HomeMy Public PortalAbout11019 ORDINANCE NO. 11019 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri for the completion of the Grammond Creek –Heege to Brittin Storm Channel Phase II (99050). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri for the completion of the Grammond Creek- Heege to Brittin Storm Channel Phase II (99050), for the total purchase price of Eighteen Dollars ($18.00), said real property being more particularly described as follows: A tract of land being the northern 53.85 feet of Lot 10 in Block 3 of OAK LAWN TERRACE, a subdivision, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 21, Page 50 of the St. Louis County, Missouri, Recorder’s Office, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of said Lot 10, said point also lying on the west line of Joel Avenue, 50 feet wide; thence southwardly along the west line of Joel Avenue, a distance of 53.85 feet to a point being the northeast corner of property now or formerly of Gerald E. and Ann M. McClintock by deed recorded in Deed Book 7649, Page 10280 of the aforementioned St. Louis County Records; thence leaving said west line of Joel Avenue westwardly along the north line of the aforementioned McClintock property and parallel with the north line of Lot 10, a distance of 125.00 feet to the west line of Lot 10; thence northwardly along the west line of Lot 10 a distance 53.85 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 10; thence eastwardly along the north line of Lot 10 a distance of 125.00 feet to a point on the west line of Joel Avenue and the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 6731 square feet, more or less, known and numbered as 8007 Joel Avenue. Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a General Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real property to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the grantor Eighteen Dollars ($18.00) for said real property. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 12, 2001 by the following vote Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
