($72,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of the Shrewsbury Branch of River des Peres to
reimburse the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, for the costs of stormwater
improvements as undertaken by said city in Weil Avenue Stormwater
Improvements (2000087 & P-23663)
WHEREAS, the existing stormwater systems along Weil Avenue
between Wilshusen Avenue and Jacobs Old Coal Road has been identified by
the District as being substandard and incomplete, and
WHEREAS, the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, in conjunction with its
road improvement project along Weil Avenue, has undertaken the upgrading
and completion of the aforesaid stormwater systems, and
WHEREAS, the District is willing to reimburse the City of
Shrewsbury, Missouri for the costs of said stormwater improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One The sum of Seventy-two Thousand Dollars ($72,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, and Construction
Improvement Fund of the Shrewsbury Branch of River des Peres to
reimburse the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri for the costs of stormwater
improvements as undertaken by said city in Weil Avenue Stormwater
Improvements (2000087 & P-23663).
Section Two This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 12, 2001 by the following vote
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, J.W.
Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
