AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars
($98,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, and Construction Improvement
Fund of Sugar Creek for engineering services for the final design of Corona
Park Storm Sewers Phase 4A & 4B (2000105); and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract E-988 with Farnsworth Group, Inc. for the
aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($98,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, and Construction
Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek for engineering services for the final design
of Corona Park Storm Sewers Phase 4A & 4B (2000105).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract E-988 with Farnsworth Group, Inc. for engineering services for the
final design of Corona Park Storm Sewers Phase 4A & 4B (2000105); said
contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 13, 2001 by the following vote
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, M.C. Williams,
and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
