AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs
for the construction of combined sewers in Hancock & Regal Combined Sewer
Relief (99085), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with J. W. Bommarito Construction Company,
Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid combined sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said combined sewers is
One Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Ninety-four Dollars ($133,094.00), and
the allowance for construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Nine
Hundred Six Dollars ($16,906.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used
for project costs for the construction of combined sewers in Hancock & Regal
Combined Sewer Relief (99085), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to

enter into a contract with J. W. Bommarito Construction Company, Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of combined sewers in Hancock
& Regal Combined Sewer Relief (99085), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of August, 2001.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 11, 2001 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
