HomeMy Public PortalAbout11092 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11092 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer, on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to execute Amendment No. 6 to the Lease Agreement with Lange-Stegmann Fertilizer Company, a Missouri corporation, for certain real property of the District, known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, said real property is being used by the Lessee for the purpose of receiving, handling, bagging, storing and shipping fertilizer and urea, and WHEREAS, the current lease, as amended from time to time, was authorized by Ordinance No. 4131, adopted August 27, 1980, and WHEREAS, Lessee desires to sublease a portion of the demised premises to Metro Materials, Inc. for the operation of a concrete materials staging and mixing area, and certain other provisions as agreeable to the District, and WHEREAS, the use of said real property as herein subleased does not interfere with any District operation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute Amendment No. 6 to the Lease Agreement with Lange-Stegmann 2 Fertilizer Company, a Missouri corporation, for certain real property of the District known and numbered as #1 Angelica Street, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The lease Amendment No. 6 as herein authorized shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 11, 2001 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
