AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($430,000.00) from the Improvement Fund for engineering services for the
final design of RDP Channel Rehabilitation Phase II (Deer Creek to Canterbury)
(2001124); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1001
with Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering
services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
($430,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for engineering
services for the final design of RDP Channel Rehabilitation Phase II (Deer Creek to
Canterbury) (2001124).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract E-1001 with Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, Inc. for
engineering services for the final design of RDP Channel Rehabilitation Phase II
(Deer Creek to Canterbury) (2001124); said contract to be comprised of such
terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 2001 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
