AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00)
from the Real Property Purchase Fund for professional real estate services for
locating, evaluating, and purchasing real property for the District, and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Colliers
International/Turley Martin Tucker whereby Colliers International/Turley
Martin Tucker will act as the District’s real estate agent to provide said
services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Real Property Purchase Fund for professional
real estate services for locating, evaluating, and purchasing real property for
the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Colliers International/Turley Martin Tucker whereby
Colliers International/Turley Martin Tucker will act as the District’s real estate
agent for the purpose of locating, evaluating and purchasing real property for
the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 2001 by the following vote
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W.
Siscel.
Nays – None.
