HomeMy Public PortalAbout11117O R D I N A N C E NO. 11117 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($975,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fieldcrest and Camellia Sanitary Relief (95080), in the Cities of Crestwood and Webster Groves, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LTD. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Eight Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Three Hundred Forty-seven Dollars ($866,347.00), and the cost of easement acquisition and allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Eight Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-three Dollars ($108,653.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($975,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in 2 Fieldcrest and Camellia Sanitary Relief (95080), in the Cities of Crestwood and Webster Groves, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LTD. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fieldcrest and Camellia Sanitary Relief (95080), in the Cities of Crestwood and Webster Groves, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 2nd day of November, 2001. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 2001 by the following vote Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
