AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ninety-nine
Thousand Dollars ($299,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the Lower Meramec River Basin for the
acquisition of easements to serve the Williams Creek Pump Station in St. Louis
County, Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
easement agreements for the acquisition of the aforesaid easements.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-name fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand
Dollars ($299,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the Lower Meramec for the acquisition
of easements to serve the Williams Creek Pump Station in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into easement agreements for the acquisition of easements to serve the
Williams Creek Pump Station in St. Louis County, Missouri, said easement
agreements to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 2001 by the following vote
Ayes- T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
