HomeMy Public PortalAbout11137O R D I N A N C E NO. 11137 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Dollars ($90,380.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for a portion of the costs of the Deer Creek Streamflow and Water Quality Study (2002047), and authorizing the Executive Director on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of the Interior (U.S. Geological Survey), whereby the District will contribute a portion of the costs of said study. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-referenced fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Dollars ($90,380.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for a portion of the costs of the Deer Creek Streamflow and Water Quality Study (2002047). Section Two. The Executive Director is hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of the Interior (U.S. Geological Survey), whereby the District will contribute a portion of the costs for Deer Creek Streamflow and Water Quality Study (2002047). Section Three. The agreement authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Four. This ordinance being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 2001 by the following vote Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None.
