AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($160,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs
for the replacement of a force main in Robyn Hills No. 1 (P-417) Force Main
Replacement (2000063), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.W. Bommarito
Construction Company, Inc. for the replacement of the aforesaid force main.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said force main is One
Hundred Forty-four Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-three Dollars
($144,523.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Fifteen
Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-seven Dollars ($15,477.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($160,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used
for project costs for the replacement of a force main in Robyn Hills No. 1 (P-
417) Force Main Replacement (2000063), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to

enter into a contract with J.W. Bommarito Construction Company, Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder for the replacement of a force main in Robyn Hills No.
1 (P-417) Force Main Replacement (2000063), in the City of Sunset Hills,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 11th day of December,
2001.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 2001 by the following vote
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
