HomeMy Public PortalAbout11155 1 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11155 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($360,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of The Five Oaks Pump Station P-423 (Infrastructure Repair) 99119 in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Purler-Cannon-Schulte, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid pump station. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said pump station and is Three Hundred Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars ($315,578.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Forty-four Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-two Dollars ($44,422.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($360,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of The Five Oaks Pump Station P-423 (Infrastructure Repair) 99119 in St. Louis County, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Purler-Cannon-Schulte, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of The Five Oaks Pump Station P-423 (Infrastructure Repair) 99119 in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of December, 2001. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 29, 2002 by the following vote Ayes – T.W. Purcell, A.J. Soukenik, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
