AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Seventy-five Thousand
Dollars ($275,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency repairs in
Emergency Repair #035 (14th & Spruce) 2002070, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the aforesaid emergency repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($275,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for emergency
repairs in Emergency Repair #035 (14th & Spruce) 2002070, in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for emergency repairs in
Emergency Repair #035 (14th & Spruce) 2002070, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 29, 2002 by the following vote
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, A.J. Soukenik, J.W. Siscel, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward,
and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
