AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($200,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to obtain additional
information regarding existing leases to assist The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District in its evaluation of the purchase of the real property in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri known and numbered as 2350 Market Street for use as the
District’s General Offices.
WHEREAS, the sum herein appropriated will be applied toward the
purchase price of said real property, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to
obtain additional information regarding existing leases to assist The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in its evaluation of the purchase of the
real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known and numbered as 2350
Market Street for use as the District’s General Offices.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 16, 2002.
