O R D I N A N C E NO. 11163
AN ORDINANCE transferring One Million Nine Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($1,900,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to the Real
Property Purchase Fund; and appropriating Eight Million Dollars
($8,000,000.00) from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of
certain real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known and numbered as
2350 Market Street for use as The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
General Offices; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute any
and all instruments necessary to effect the purchase of said real property.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there are
unencumbered balances in the above-named funds sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTESS OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Nine Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($1,900,000.00) is hereby transferred from the General Fund of the
District to the Real Property Purchase Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Eight Million Dollars ($8,000,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of
certain real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known and numbered as
2350 Market Street for use as The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
General Offices.
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
execute any and all instruments necessary to effect the purchase of certain real
property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known and numbered as 2350
Market street for use as The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District General
Offices.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 16, 2002.
