AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twelve Thousand Dollars
($12,000.00) from the General Fund of the District for the development of a
public information program regarding The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District’s purchase of the real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known
and numbered as 2350 Market Street for use as the District’s General Offices;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Marketing Matters, Inc. whereby Marketing Matters, Inc. will develop said
public information program.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District for the development
of a public information program regarding The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District’s purchase of the real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known
and numbered as 2350 Market Street for use as the District’s General Offices.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Marketing Matters, Inc. whereby Marketing Matters,
Inc. will develop a public information program regarding The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District’s purchase of the real property in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri known and numbered as 2350 Market Street for use as the District’s
General Offices.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 16, 2002.
