AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Six
Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($6,100.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
to be used for additional project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
LC-02 Ripa-Meadow to Broadway Sanitary Relief (90057), in St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract
amendment with J.H. Berra Construction Company, Inc. for the additional project
costs for construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10646 adopted November 4, 1999,
appropriated the initial funding and authorized the contract for said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Thousand One Hundred Dollars
($6,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be
used for additional project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in LC-02
Ripa-Meadow to Broadway Sanitary Relief (90057), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract amendment with J.H. Berra Construction Company, Inc. for the
additional project costs for construction of sanitary sewers in LC-02 Ripa-Meadow
to Broadway Sanitary Relief (90057), in St. Louis County, Missouri,
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes- T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
