AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Five Hundred
Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,525,000.00) from the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund for the purchase of a new process
control system for the Bissell Point Treatment Plant; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Invensys Systems
Inc. for the purchase of a new process control system for the Bissell Point
Treatment Plant.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Twenty-
five Dollars ($1,525,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund for the purchase of a new process
control system for the Bissell Point Treatment Plant.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Invensys Systems Inc. for the
purchase of a new process control system for the Bissell Point Treatment
Plant, said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 2002 by the
following vote –
Ayes- T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W.
Siscel.
Nays – None.
