AN ORDINANCE, vacating a portion of a twenty foot (20’) wide
easement as recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 9 and Deed Book 1581, Page 483
of the St. Louis County Records, and a portion of a undefined easement for an
eight foot (8’) brick sewer all on the property of Washington University as
recorded in Book 74, Page 201 and Book 1521, Page 17 being in part of U.S.
Survey 378, in Township 45 North, Range 6 East, in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of subject property has requested this
District to vacate the portions of subject easements, and this District has no
further use for said portions,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTESS OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The portion of the twenty foot (20’) wide easement as
recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 9 and Deed Book 1581, Page 483 of the St.
Louis County Records, and the portion of the undefined easement for eight foot
(8’) brick sewer, as shown hachured on the attached “Easement Vacation Plat”,
and marked Exhibit “A” and made a part hereof, is hereby vacated,
EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the irregular shaped easement recorded in Deed
Book 12872, Page 71 thru 73 of the St. Louis County Records.
Recorded in Book 13707, Pages 1566/1570.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes- T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
