AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
contracts with Gilmore & Bell, P.C and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C., whereby
Gilmore & Bell, P.C and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C. will serve as Bond Counsel for
the District.
WHEREAS, Gilmore & Bell, P.C and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C.
submitted the most favorable proposal to serve as Bond Counsel,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into contracts with Gilmore & Bell, P.C and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C., whereby
Gilmore & Bell, P.C and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C. will serve as Bond Counsel for
the District. The term of this engagement is to be limited to the next Bond
authorization as approved by the electorate at the next single election.
Section Two. The contracts authorized in Section One of this
ordinance shall provide for a fee not to exceed the amount of such funds as have
been allocated in the budget of the Office of the General Counsel for professional
services, and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 27, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes- T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
