AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Fifteen Thousand
Dollars ($315,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Tiffin and Clark
Sanitary Relief (2000051), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R & R Finish Grading, Inc.
for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is
Two Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($285,500.00), and
the cost of easement acquisition and allowance for construction change orders
is Twenty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($29,500.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($315,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Tiffin and
Clark Sanitary Relief (2000051), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to

enter into a contract with R & R Finish Grading, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Tiffin and Clark Sanitary
Relief (2000051), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 13th day of February, 2002.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 27, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W.
Siscel.
