AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00) from the General Fund of the District for property management
services for the District’s real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known
and numbered as 2350 Market Street, and ratifying a contract by and between
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with Greystone Partners, Inc.
whereby Greystone Partners, Inc. will provide property management services
for said real property.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11163 adopted January 16, 2002,
authorized the District’s purchase of the real property in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri known and numbered as 2350 Market Street, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 11163 further authorized the
Executive Director to execute any and all instruments necessary to effect the
purchase of said real property, and
WHEREAS, the contract as hereinafter ratified was a part of the
closing documents for the purchase of said real property, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTESS OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General fund of the District for
property management services for the District’s real property in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri known and numbered as 2350 Market Street.
Section Two. The contract by and between The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District and Greystone Partners, Inc. whereby Greystone Partners,
Inc. will provide property management services for the District’s real property
in the City of St. Louis, Missouri known and numbered as 2350 Market Street
is hereby ratified.
Section Three. The contract as ratified in Section Two of this
ordinance provides for a term not to exceed six (6) months, fees of five percent
(5%) of the aforesaid real property’s gross lease income, and for such other
terms and conditions as were approved by the Office of the General Counsel of
the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 27, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and J.W.
Siscel.
