AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Twenty-five
Thousand Dollars ($325,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
engineering services during construction of Grand and Bates Relief Phase II
(Tunnel) (99145); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 3 of Contract E-915 with TSI Engineering, Inc. for the
aforesaid engineering services during construction.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTESS OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Twenty-five Thousand
Dollars ($325,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the sanitary replacement
fund for engineering services during construction of Grand and Bates Relief
Phase II (Tunnel) (99145)
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Amendment No. 3 of Contract E-915 with TSI Engineering, Inc. for
engineering services during construction of Grand and Bates Relief Phase II
(Tunnel) (99145); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
