AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase
certain real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri for use as a staging area
and to provide access for the construction of combined sewers in Grand and Bates
Relief Phase II (Tunnel) 99145.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
purchase certain real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri for use as a
staging area and to provide access for the construction of combined sewers in
Grand and Bates Relief Phase II (Tunnel) 99145, for the total purchase price of
One Dollar ($1.00), said real property being more particularly described as follows:
Parts of Lots 6 and 11, and all of Lots 7,8,9 and 10 in
Blocks No. 1 of Southwest Kingshighway Park and in
City Blocks 2874, Parcel ID number 2874-00-03000,
1022 – 1028 Bates Street.
Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a
Special Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real
property to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the grantor One Dollar ($1.00)
for said real property.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
