AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand
Dollars ($165,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to reimburse the District's share to the City
of Florissant, Missouri for the design and construction of storm sewers in St.
Pierre-St. Catherine Storm Sewer (88107) in order to correct deficiencies within
the existing storm sewer system.
WHEREAS, the City of Florissant, Missouri has undertaken the design
and construction of street improvements, including storm sewers, within St.
Catherine Street from Ferdinand Street eastwardly to St. Jacques Street in the
City of Florissant, and
WHEREAS, the existing storm sewer system along St. Catherine
Street is deficient, and the District has agreed to reimburse the City of Florissant,
Missouri for the design and construction of said storm sewers, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars
($165,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to pay the District's share to
the City of Florissant, Missouri for the design and construction of storms sewers
in St. Pierre-St. Catherine Storm Sewer (88107) in order to correct deficiencies
within the existing storm sewer system.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
