AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Forty-nine Thousand
Dollars ($449,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering
services for the final design of Gravois Trunk (Whitecliff Park to RDP) Sanitary
Relief Phase I (E-1018 & 90032); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract E-1018 with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. for the aforesaid
engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Forty-nine Thousand Dollars
($449,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
engineering services for the final design of Gravois Trunk (Whitecliff Park to RDP)
Sanitary Relief Phase I (E-1018 & 90032).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract E-1018 with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. for engineering services
for the final design of Gravois Trunk (Whitecliff Park to RDP) Sanitary Relief Phase
I (E-1018 & 90032); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
