AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a Design and Construction Agreement and any
other documents related thereto, with the Department of the Army,
whereby the District will contribute a portion of the costs of design and
construction of the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Project
(2001141).
WHEREAS, the Department of the Army will undertake the
design and construction of the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows
Project, and
WHEREAS, the Department of the Army has requested that
the District participate in the design and construction costs of said
project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a Design and Construction
Agreement, and any other documents related thereto, with the
Department of the Army, whereby the District will contribute a portion of
the costs of design and construction of the St. Louis Combined Sewer
Overflows Project (2001141).
Section Two. The Design and Construction Agreement, and
any other documents related thereto, as authorized in Section One of this
ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2002 by the following
vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and
M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
