AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
design and construction for the District’s share of the Southern Arsenal
Relief Sewer Rehabilitation Phase II project (2000116) included as part of
the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Project (2001141), as
undertaken by the Department of the Army.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund design and construction for the District’s
share of the Southern Arsenal Relief Sewer Rehabilitation Phase II project
(2000116) included as part of the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows
Project (2001141), as undertaken by the Department of the Army.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2002 by the following
vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and
M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
