AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($120,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to pay the District’s
share to the St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #014P Barrett Brae, P-
413 (90043) to eliminate a deficient sanitary lift station.
WHEREAS, the St. Louis County Department of Highways and
Traffic has undertaken the construction of a new bridge and street
improvements, including sanitary sewers, within Barrett Station Road at the
Union Pacific Railroad between Dougherty Ferry Road and Big Bend Road in
unincorporated St. Louis County, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($120,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
pay the District’s share to the St. Louis County Department of Highways and
Traffic for the construction of sanitary sewers in Barrett Station Road in
unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri in order to correct deficiencies
within the existing sanitary sewer system.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 26, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel,
and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
