AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($500,000.00) from the Improvement Fund for engineering
services for the final design of Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant
Improvements (2001068); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-1014 with HDR
Engineering Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for
engineering services for the final design of Fenton Wastewater Treatment
Plant Improvements (2001068).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-1014 with
HDR Engineering, Inc. for engineering services for the final design of
Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements (2001068); said
contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 26, 2002 by the following
vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, J.W.
Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
