AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area-
ORS Lemay North (L-10D1) Sewer Separation Phase II (96056D1), in
unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.W. Bommarito
Construction Company, Inc. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Lemay North
Sewer Separation Phase II is Three Hundred Eighty-six Thousand Eight
Hundred Nineteen Dollars ($386,819.00) and the cost of special
insurance and allowance for change orders is Forty-Three Thousand One
Hundred Eighty-one Dollars ($43,181.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($430,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the
Lemay Service Area-ORS Lemay North (L-10D1) Sewer Separation Phase
II (96056D1), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with J.W. Bommarito Construction Company,
Inc. for the construction of the Lemay Service Area-ORS Lemay North (L-
10D1) Sewer Separation Phase II (96056D1), in unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th day
of May, 2002.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 26, 2002 by the following
vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and
M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
