HomeMy Public PortalAbout11251O R D I N A N C E NO. 11251 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-two Thousand Dollars ($92,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Nana Lane Storm Sewer (2000081), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Bill Lippold Construction for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Eighty-three Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-seven and 62/100 Dollars ($83,527.62), and the allowance for construction change orders is Eight Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-two and 38/100 Dollars ($8,472.38), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Ninety-two Thousand Dollars ($92,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in Nana Lane Storm Sewer (2000081), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Bill Lippold Construction as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Nana Lane Storm Sewer (2000081), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of May, 2002. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 26, 2002by the following vote- Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, C.D. Seward, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
