HomeMy Public PortalAbout11282 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11282 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 10892, as adopted January 11, 2001 and enacting a new Ordinance in lieu thereof, prescribing the Classification Plan for all employees in the Classified Service of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and designating those classifications which are eligible for payment of overtime compensation. WHEREAS, Rule 12.1 of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Civil Service Rules and Regulations provides amendments to the Classification Plan of the Classified Service shall be authorized by Ordinance, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 13.6c of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Civil Service Rules and Regulations, classified employees in classes allocated to the Management Schedule shall be entitled to be paid for overtime work only if provided by District ordinance, and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees hereby wishes to amend said Classification Plan and to designate those classifications which are eligible for overtime compensation, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 10892, as adopted January 11, 2001 is hereby repealed and superseded. Section Two. Subject to the Civil Service Rules for administration, all positions in the Classified Service of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall be classified, coded, graded and eligible for payment of overtime compensation as follows: The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 26, 2002 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, M.C. Williams, and J.W. Siscel. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
